Electrode of anode grounding of ELER series


Purpose

  • Application in the system of electrochemical protection of the technological facilities – one of the prime examples of scientific development and arrangement of manufacturing of products which changed fundamentally the principles of the technological process from designing to operation in the sphere of electrochemical protection (cathode protection) against corrosion.

Operation principle

  • 1 copper of steel current-conducting wire;
  • 1 operating sheath of electrically conductive elastoplastic with specific volume electric resistance 0.5–5.0 Ohm*m;
  • One-layer extended electrodes ELER are most efficiently applied in the systems of electrochemical protection (cathode protection) against underground, river and marine corrosion of:

— divided utilities of compressor, gas-distributing, oil pumping stations, heat power stations and factory facilities of any purpose;

— Electrochemical protection of pipelines of any purpose in rocky and high-ohmic (everfrost, deeply frozen, dry and desert) grounds and in dangerous conditions of “stress-corrosion”;

— electrochemical protection of manufacturing reservoirs of different purpose, including the internal surface;

— Harbor and docking structures of marine platforms;

— underwater passages and passages under the highways and railways of one-line pipelines and their systems;

— electrochemical protection of any facilities with complex configuration.

  • Non-uniformity of current spreading within the set protection zone – not more than 100%.
  • Constant of the current spreading up to 6.0*10-4 1/m. The efficiency coefficient of the protection system – not less than 70%.
