Magnetite ground electrodes “MENDELEEVETS”-MT

Purpose

• Use of magnetite as material of anode ground electrodes is caused by extremely low rate of anode dissolution of the material which brackets it with the noble metals.

Operation principle

• To provide a uniform current lead to the internal hollow of the magnetite anode a layer of the electrically conductive coating is applied. Electric contact of the cable with the magnetite anode is made by the spring closely fitted to the internal surface of the anode. For insulation of the contact unit a special composition on the basis of the epoxy resin is applied. Additional insulation of the place of the cable output is made using the heat-shrinkable sleeves
