“Pulsar” system

Purpose

• The system of corrosion monitoring (SCM) “Pulsar” is a unique system of collection of the telemetric information about the state of electrochemical protection of the main pipelines, industrial sites and remote control of operation of the cathode protection facilities. The system permit to conduct promptly corrosion monitoring, regulate parameters of cathode protection and automatically document the received data.
• The system has a flexible configuration and easily expanded structure, is constructed according to the hierarchical principle. One control center (CC) serves some controlled stations; one controlled station receives information about several test points. Communication between the control and controlled stations is conducted by means of USW radio of radio-cable channel.
• Communication between the controlled station and test point – by means of the cable or recording of the information to the laptop PC.

Operation conditions

• The subsystem is provided for twenty-four-hour operation in the terms of natural air convection (climatic version according to GOST 15150 – category U2).
• Operating temperature range from -40C to +50C.
• High relative air humidity up to 98% at the temperature of +25?C with moisture condensation.
