Purpose

• Rectifier V-OPE-3 is designed for cathode protection of the underground metal structures against electrochemical corrosion.

Features

• Reduced dimensions and weight of rectifiers.
• The rectifier stricture provides an opportunity to use it in the systems equipped with the telemechanics (TM) complex operating with potential signals coming from the rectifier. For example, TM complexes “UNK-TM”, “Telur-PMZ”, etc.

Operation principle

• The operation principle of the rectifier is based in preliminary reduction of the circuit voltage by means of the power transformer and its rectifying by the bridge diode-thyristor rectifier. The output voltage is regulated by changing the moment of thyristor activation using the phase control system.

Operation conditions

• The rectifier provides reliable and stable operation in the terms of effect of the following climatic factors:

— Upper value of the environment temperature +45C;
— Lower value of the environment temperature -45C;
— Upper value of the ambient air relative humidity 98% at the temperature 25C.

• Rectifier V-OPE-3, climatic version U, location category 1 is designed for outside installation.

Rectifier V-OPE-3 can be installed in the cathode protection distributing devices UKZV, UKZN, MEHZV, MEHZN, MEHZT and other closed premises.
