Purpose

  • Enterprises of different activity types having underground metal structures: off-main gas pipelines, oil pipelines, products pipelines and other pipelines of different purpose, municipal engineering facilities, storage reservoirs and other similar facilities located in different grounds, including in the grounds with high aggressiveness, as well as in the zones of impact of the ground currents from the railway transport to which direct action of GOST R 51164-98 is not extended.

Features

  • Degree of protection against contact with current-carrying parts and against the environment impact – IP34, and built-in electronic components – IP44 by GOST 14254-96.
  • Rectifiers have an opportunity to be connected to different telemechanics systems for remote control and monitoring of:
  • values of the measured difference of potentials, output voltage, output current;
  • accumulative accounting of consumed electric energy;
  • remote setting of protection potential (in the automatic mode of protection potential support – “AUTO”);
  • remote setting of protection current (in the automatic mode of protection potential stabilization – “CURRENT”);
  • remote setting of output voltage of the rectifier (in the manual mode of output voltage setting – “MANUAL”);
  • Rectifier is adapted to the main telemechanics systems applied at the facilities of GAZPROM JSC, Transneft JSC, Transnefteprodukt JSC, regional gas-distributing organizations (GDO): “UKN-TM”, “Magistral 2”, “STN-3000”, “SupeRTU4”, “SKAT”, “ELSI-2000”, “TELUR”.

Operation principle

  • High accuracy of protection potential support – up to ±0,5% and protection current up to ±1% (in the automatic operation mode)
  • Set electrical parameters during changing of the supply main voltage from 176V to 242V, as well as performance capacity during changing of the supply main voltage from 150V to 250V;
  • Automatic switching-in into operation in the set mode in case of failure or reappearance of the supply main voltage (in cases of electric energy failure);
  • Drainage of the ground currents from the protected structures to the anode ground electrode (current drainage) in case of absence of the supply main voltage;
  • Stable operation in case of load drop and rise;
  • Efficient protection against overloads and short circuits in the load circuit;
  • Efficient protection against atmospheric (lightning) overvoltages from the inputs of the supply voltage and load;
  • Opportunity to increase the output voltage to 2Unom at the current 0.5Inom;
  • Opportunity to decrease the output voltage to 0.5Unom at the current Inom;
  • Accounting of the time of availability of the protection potential at the facility which value is not less than the specified one;
  • Economical power consumption due to high energy indices and accumulative accounting of electric energy by the built-in electron meter;
  • Low radio interference level not exceeding the values specified by GOST R 51522-99.

Operation conditions

  • Stable operation in the climatic zones in a wide range of the environment temperatures: from -45°С to +45°С;
  • High protection against mechanic damages. Steel case thickness – 2mm.
  • Powder coating significantly exceeds the corrosion resistance of the case.
  • Special anti-vandal lock structure provides adherence of the external door and protection against an unauthorized access.
  • The useful operating life is increased to 100 000 hours, the service life – up to 20 years.
