Purpose

• Rectifiers V-OPE-TM are designed for cathode protection of the underground metal structures against electrochemical corrosion.

Features

• General-circuit configuration of rectifiers V-OPR-TM-1 and V-OPR-TM-2 is the same.
• Structure of the rectifiers provides an opportunity to use them in the system equipped with the telemechanics complex (adapted to operation with different telemechanics complexes).
• The rectifier circuit provides drainage of the ground currents from the protected structure (pipe) to the anode ground electrode when the supply main voltage is absent.

Operation principle

• The operation principle of the rectifier is based in preliminary reduction of the circuit voltage by means of the power transformer and rectification thereof by the bridge diode-thyristor rectifier. The output voltage is regulated by changing the moment of thyristors activation using the phase control system.

Operation conditions

• The rectifier provides reliable and stable operation in the terms of effect of the following climatic factors:

• Rectifier V-OPE-TM-1, climatic version U, location category 1 is designed for outside installation.
• Rectifier V-OPE-TM-2, climatic version U, location category 1 is designed for installation in the cathode protection distributing devices (UKZV and UKZN, MEHZV, MEHZN, MEXZET) and other closed premises.
