Test point stand of municipal type SKIP-G

Purpose

• The stand of the stationary test station of the municipal type is designed for equipping of the route, drainage (in places of drainage of the cathode protection plants) and anode diagnostic test points located in the settlements, compressor, gas-distributing plants and distribution stations.

Features

• The stand can be installed in the settlements and industrial areas at the level of asphalt coating. It withstands the pressure of the motor transport tires.

Operation principle

• Arrangement and performance of control at the stand over the regularity of the electrochemical protection operation, measuring of the value of the protection (difference and protection) potential, connection of diagnostic means and monitoring of the protected underground metal structures.

Operation conditions

• SKIP stand is designed for operation in the terms of effect of the following climatic factors:

• Climatic version of the stand – U, location category 1 by GOST 15150-69.

Structure

• Structurally the test station stand of the municipal type is a cast-iron body with the cast hinged cover. The stand cover is sunk in the body which permits to install the stand at the level of asphalt coatings of the settlements. The body has a flange near the base for better fixation of the stand during embedding into the ground.
• There is a mount panel inside the body. The structure of the power terminals of the panel provides reliable electric connection of the wires without special termination. According to the purpose some configurations are produced differing by the structure of the mount panel.
