Test point stand SKIP-1, SKIP-2

Purpose

• The stand of the stationary test station of the municipal type is designed for equipping of the route, drainage (in places of drainage of the cathode protection plants) and anode diagnostic test points.

Features

• Numerous stand configurations with different combinations of numbers of the power and instrumentation terminals.
• Has a jumper unclosing the contacts during measuring of the polarized and total potential.

Operation principle

• Arrangement and performance of control at the stand over the regularity of the electrochemical protection operation, measuring of the value of the protection (difference and protection) potential, connection of diagnostic means and monitoring of the protected underground metal structures.

Operation conditions

• SKIP stand is designed for operation in the terms of effect of the following climatic factors:

• Climatic version of the stand – U, location category 1 by GOST 15150-69.

Structure

• Structurally the stand represents a support frame (part of a steel pipe with a base plate and panel welded thereto) on which the terminal panels with the instrumentation and power terminals are installed. The terminal blocks are closed by the hinged cover. The cover is equipped with two locks and has two slope surfaces for application of the identification information. The configurations of stands assume different combinations of instrumentation and power terminals, different height, opportunity to install BDRM on them.
• The structure of the instrumentation and power terminals of the stands provides an opportunity to connect wires and cables to them without special termination.
• The terminal blocks are divided by the functional principle which permits to group the stands within wide ranges with different combination of instrumentation and power terminals. On the request of consumers it is possible to produce the stands with a set of instrumentation and power terminals differing from SKIP stand configurations specified in the table. The routings of conductors are located so that the instrumentation conductors connected to the upper terminal blocks do not cover the surfaces of the lower terminal blocks.
• It is possible to supply the instrumentation stands with one-, two-channel diode-resistor units BDRM-10-2-HH-K-UHL1 or BDRM-25-2-HH-K-UHL1 fixed on them, with connection thereof to the terminal block of the stand which may be used both for joint cathode protection of the underground metal structures and as polarized electric drains, regulating resistors and valves while removing harmful effect of adjacent utilities with separate protection.
• As agreed with the customer the stand can be supplied in the set with instrumentation and power cable terminals.
• The stand height can be changed as agreed with the customer.
