Purpose

• Unit of corrosion rate plates-indicators designed for definition of corrosion danger and efficiency of action of electrochemical protection against corrosion of the underground steel structures
• The essence of the method is that by means of the set of indicating plates with different thickness total corrosion is additionally estimated and order of its average rate during electrochemical protection of the pipeline in the place of installation of the set of indicating plate by time from the moment of its installation till the loss of series electrical conductivity of the plates as a result of corrosion.

• The unit is an article of one-time use; in the course of operation it is not subject to reconstruction or repair.
